SRA workshop series: Finding opportunities for solving real world problems
The Strategic Research Areas, in collaboration with Sustainability Forum, is arranging a series of workshops with focus on the Sustainable Development Goals, during 2021. This workshop is the second within the theme Policy and international research development.
The SDG's will increasingly guide funding agency activities, and need to be considered now, by everyone, regardless of the focus of research. How do we navigate these calls and be forward thinking in order to write the grants? How do we develop transdisciplinary collaborations within and outside academia and create innovative solutions, as opposed to feeling restricted by policy? Invited speakers will share their vision of trends in the funding agencies, particularly concerning innovation calls. The workshop will include two sessions of breakout rooms: one on funding opportunities, one on collaboration opportunities, to find and create prospects to address the SDG's in upcoming grant calls, as well as to engage with funding agency activities.
The workshop is arranged in collaboration with the Strategic Research Areas StemTherapy, MultiPark and MECW.
More information regarding the program will provided closer to the workshop here.
